A heartfelt thank you to the incredible group of supporters who recently took part in the Epworth Provence Challenge, raising vital funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer research through the Jreissati Pancreatic Centre at Epworth.

Over six unforgettable days, the group walked more than 70 kilometres, beginning in the charming town of St Rémy and winding through the stunning regions of the Alpilles, Luberon and Cassis. The journey offered spectacular vistas - from hilltop villages to sweeping valleys - and while the terrain proved more challenging than expected, the team’s spirit never wavered.

Blisters, steep climbs and long days could not dampen the camaraderie and commitment that defined the experience. Each step was taken with purpose, driven by a shared goal: to support people affected by pancreatic cancer and improve health outcomes through innovation in care and research.

The funds raised through the Challenge will help the Jreissati Pancreatic Centre drive critical research into pancreatic cancer detection, treatment and patient support. These efforts are part of Epworth’s broader commitment to advancing care for people facing one of Australia’s most aggressive cancers.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined the Challenge and to all those who supported it through donations and encouragement. Your generosity is helping us take meaningful steps towards earlier diagnosis, better treatment options and greater hope for patients with pancreatic cancer.

Thank you for walking with us.
